SENIOR SALES ASSOCIATE

Zen Living is looking for a sales professional with 5+ years of sales experience in kitchen and interior design. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys a challenging position with a dynamic organization. Candidates MUST have previous cabinet design and related experience. This position requires the candidate to aggressively target contractors and builders.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for:

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare quotes and sales contracts.
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to forecast contacts to be made.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Ensure customer files are signed and up to date
Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE experience with dealing with contractors and builders in Calgary
MUST HAVE 5 years of previous cabinet design experience. Knowledge of cabinet installation is a bonus
Be albe to draw a kitchen in design software such as AutoCAD, 20/20 and KCD/w
Immediate consideration for candidates with a strong contractor/builder’s portfolio
Strong MS Office Applications, ability to learn and adhere to system and company requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be a self starter and self motivator.
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image
Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid Alberta’s driver’s license within 60 days of employment.
